Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScentHunt, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the service.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use ScentHunt. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. This is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as applied in the Netherlands.

Service Description

ScentHunt is a fragrance discovery and price comparison platform. We provide:

• AI-powered fragrance recommendations based on your preferences
• Price comparison across European retailers
• Watchlists with price drop notifications

We do not sell fragrances directly. When you click through to a retailer, your purchase is governed by that retailer's own terms and conditions.

Affiliate Links

ScentHunt earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you click a link to a retailer and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

We make every effort to show accurate pricing and availability, but we cannot guarantee that information displayed on ScentHunt is always up-to-date. Prices and availability are determined by the retailer and may change at any time. Always verify the final price on the retailer's website before purchasing.

User Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information
• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@scenthunt.eu.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from ScentHunt
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

Intellectual Property

The ScentHunt name, logo, design, and original content are the property of Algol Labs. Fragrance names, brands, and images are the property of their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from ScentHunt's content without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

ScentHunt provides fragrance recommendations for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of recommendations, pricing, or product availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Algol Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties. Where possible, we will provide notice before taking action.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of ScentHunt shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account) at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of ScentHunt after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
